These free-standing Bungalows overlook the tropical gardens and feature spacious rooms and are specifically designed for couples and small families. This accommodation option on Hamilton Island allows the use of all the resorts main facilities including the Resort Centre, swimming pools, restaurants, bars, shops, tennis courts and gym. Palm Bungalows, a great choice for those who wish to escape from a busy lifestyle and just relax.

A soft refurbishment of the Palm Bungalows will be taking place from late 2011 and will be an ongoing project. It is expected that there will be little to no impact on guests.

Dining

There are over 10 dining options on Hamilton Island to choose from featuring a range of cuisines. For something a little different why not have breakfast with the Koalas at the Hamilton Island Wildlife Park.

Bommie Restaurant located in the Hamilton Island Yatch Club will be closed for maintenance from 15 January 2012 - 27 January 2012 and re-open on 28th January 2012. During this time guests can still enjoy beverages on the Bommie Deck however food will not be available.

Golf

Tee off beside the Whitsundays at the Hamilton Island Golf Club, one of the world's premier golfing destinations. The course is adjacent to Hamilton Island on its own patch of paradise, Dent Island.

Designed by five-time British Open winner Peter Thomson, it is the only championship course in Australia on its own island. The par 71, 18-hole course is on par with Australia's top golfing destinations for its design, location and facilities. Spectacularly located with panoramic Whitsundays views, the Hamilton Island course will challenge and delight weekend golfers and professionals alike.

Children

At Palm Bungalows children up to the age of 12 stay and eat for free - conditions apply. Children 12 & under eat for free when selection from the special children's menu and dining with parents in selected restaurant. Participating restaurants include Pool Terrace Restaurant (lunch & dinner), Manta Ray Cafe (lunch & dinner), Sails Restaurant (breakfast, lunch & dinner), Hamilton Island Wildlife Park (breakfast only), and Steakhouse (dinner only). Please note restaurants are subject to change.

The Clown Fish Club is an organised day care and child care activities. This facility offers high quality care and is operated by fully qualified childhood leaders. Open Tuesday - Saturday from 8.30am to 5pm for children aged between 6 weeks and 14 years, bookings are essential and charges apply. Baby sitting is also available at an additional charge. During school holiday periods the Kids Club extends to Monday - Saturday.
